Happy Birthday

Today Alexis turned 10. We sang 'Happy Birthday' and wished her all the best as a 10 year old.

Term 4 Week 7

Over the weekend lots of exciting things happened for Room 6 people.

Congratulations to Savanna who received 2 medals and a trophy at her dance prize giving.
Among her many achievements Savanna was awarded the second highest mark in her Contemporary Dance Exam in Australasia.

Materoa was named 'player of the day' for her netball team.

Emily S played in a Touch Tournament and her team was placed 2nd. Ka pai, Emily.

Hannah gained her first Silver Athletics Certificate. Ka pai, Hannah, keep up the good work.

Term 4 Week 6 Assembly Certificate

Congratulations to Materoa who received a certificate at Friday's School Assembly.

Weekend Sport

Congratulations to Emily M who was named 'Player of the Day' for her cricket team on Sunday.

Congratulations to Emily S who played for the Canterbury Under 12 Touch Development team in a tournament in Nelson over the weekend.  Her team came third .

Term 4 Week 5

Yesterday Madde turned 11. We sang 'Happy Birthday' to her and wished her all the best as an 11 year old.

Congratulations to Hannah (cricket) and Emily S (netball) who were named 'Player of the Day' for their respective sports teams.

Congratulations to EJ, John, Nina, Savanna, Maia P and Nia who represented OLV at the Zone Athletics last Thursday.

EJ and Mia have been selected to compete at the Central Athletics in Ashburton next month.

Last Day

Today was Leon's last day at school. As he will not be here on his birthday (22 November) we sang an early 'Happy Birthday' to him and wished him all the best for his birthday and also for his trip to India. Leon, thanks for being a great classmate, we will miss you.
